Verstappen as Senna

Max Verstappen is in a spectacular moment. Meaning he continues in a fantastic moment. Leaderwith 53 points ahead Sergio Perez, runner-up in this time. In Spain, Verstappen reached 40 wins in Formula 1. Five wins in seven Grands Prix in this season; three in the last three races.

In Canada, the Dutchman can reach 41 and equal the number of victories of three-time champion Ayrton Senna, the biggest Brazilian winner in F1.

Ayrton won in Montreal in two of the three seasons (1988 and 1990) he became F1 champion. Max Verstappen won the Canadian GP in 2022, the season he won the world championship.

Verstappen has a great chance to win in Canada this year. And, for those who are superstitious, Max could be Champion at the end of the season, just as Senna won in Canada in 1988 and 1990 and ended up world champion in those seasons.

Talking about records... There are still 15 Grands Prix left in 2023. Despite the spectacular moment, it is dificult that Max will win all the GPs or, at least, more 14 races in 2023. But, if it happens, the Dutchman would leave behind Senna's 41 wins, Alain Prost's 51 and Sebastian Vettel's 53. He will become the third biggest winner in history of F1, behind only Michael Schumacher (91) and Lewis Hamilton (103).
