Rubens Barrichello’s son wins in Cascavel in Stock Car

In his 4th race for Stock Car, Dudu – 21 years old – gets his first victory and brings his father to tears. Daniel Serra takes the first win of the day.

Pic: Luís França In this reunion of Cascavel with the category, there was emotion between father and son. If for most drivers, the time to mature until the first victory in Stock Car takes years, then the rookie of the season, Dudu Barrichello, made history by winning his first race, bringing his father, Rubens, to tears of joy. Races: It was confusing, there was no chequered flag, but it was worth Daniel Serra's victory in race 1. After the pit stop, Serra overtook Felipe Fraga and remained with great authority in 1st place, getting his second victory of the year. “Fraga was very strong, it was unexpected. Now we're going to fight for the title”, said the head of the RC Team, Rosinei Campos.

The second race of the day was electrifying. Felipe Fraga was pursued by Rubens Barrichelo and Felipe Massa, who had a good fight for position. But Rubinho spun and caused a domino effect. Marcos Gomes and Enzo Elias were abandoned in this accident. Rubinho went from frustration to tears of joy because of the victory of his son, the newcomer Dudu Barrichello.
